A safety measure against coronavirus is essential in our daily life routine.
Working from home is one of the essential step most of the organizations and
business offices are implementing. As a trainer, my complete training plan,
preparation and paperwork I have been doing from home.
Based on my two decade years of experience, I would like to share my style of
working from home for productive and better results for yourself, your
organization and clients.
Designate area as your office/work station. Organize like
your office/work station. Preferably it should in the last room
or any place at the end of the house.
Make sitting place as comfortable as possible with all work
related equipment like laptop, printer, table lamp etc.
Split eight working hours in four sets. After two hours have
break for other home related tasks, but during two hours segment
no break.
Create a list of daily work assignments based on:
What should be done?
What must be done?
What could be done?
Take good meals (breakfast, lunch). It will help to
work without interruption due to hunger.
Designate time to walk outside considering break to be away
from the home atmosphere. Do not spend break time in doing home
related tasks.
Discipline and self-control is the key to follow the
schedule.
I believe practicing above mentioned points will give you productive and
better results of working at home.
